Building Hope in Homa Bay

When GOYA Ministries first opened our school in Homa Bay, we built classrooms for Pre-K through 3rd grade—laying a strong foundation for education and faith in one of Kenya’s most underserved regions. As enrollment has grown, our 4th–9th grade students have continued their studies faithfully under the shade of acacia trees, waiting for a place to call their own. This year, we’re launching a campaign to complete the elementary school (4th–6th grade) and build new classrooms for our Jr. High students (7th–9th grade).

The Homa Bay community—also home to our thriving church plant—is located in the region with the highest HIV-positive rate in Kenya, making education and hope for the next generation more vital than ever. Together, we can give these students a safe, permanent place to learn, grow, and dream big.
