We are excited to have officially launched our new Home Sciences classroom at our high school! Since this class will require some of its material to be replenished regularly, we are in need of support for items to restock the room in order for our students to continue working on projects throughout the school year. We can source much of what we need in country for a great cost! When you give toward this fund, your donations will go towards items such as fabric, notions, sewing machine belts and other maintenance items, thread, sewing kits, and more. Your support will also make it possible for us to purchase sewing machines that can be operated with a treadle for use in locations where electricity is not reliable. These machines, with the built in table, cost approx. $200 in Nairobi where we will be purchasing them.
