Beginning in 2019, we started raising funds for the next phase of the water well project.  

We've completed the largest expense of getting the well dug and tested, but there are two parts remaining. Thankfully, since the new girl’s dorm was built in proximity to the new well, we have eliminated some of the overall project expense:

1. No immediate need for a tower to hold a tank as they have provided an enclosed space in the dorm, and
2. No need for an enclosure to be built for the pump panel controls as they will be located in the dorm under one of the stairwells.

So now we are working to cover the cost of the pump itself along with solar panels. Yes, solar panels!  

This is a calculated decision. It prevents us from having to increase already expensive utility bills to run the pump, and it provides a new technology for the students to learn about.
